Doesn't this contain alcohol which may cause harm on the plastic parts of the phone?

Acetone harms plastic, alcohol is completely safe.

I use Purell hand sanitizing wipes. I let then dry a little bit though.

Yes. No kidding. I have a bottle of vodka that I use specifically for my phone, tablet and laptop.
I remember using wipes (wet wipes that had spirit/ alcohol ) that my office used to buy for glasses/LCD screens. That's how I started using vodka.

This is great! Now I can bring vodka to work and have an excuse to have it!
It's to clean my phone.

How dirty are screens getting where a cleaning fluid is necessary? Also, how often are most of you cleaning your screen?
Vodka, Purell, eye glass cleaner - all the same thing - alcohol.
FYI, I just applied a tempered glass screen protector to my Z30. It came with a "cleaning kit" to prepare the screen. It contained a little alcohol wipe, a microfiber cloth, and a bit of slightly sticky tape to remove dust.
Came out great!!

Damp cloth to remove smudges then micro fibre for that showroom shine

No way windex contains ammonia which can create micro damage to touch screens!

Isopropyl alcohol is safe on plastic!

Micro fibre cloth, if needed wipe with warm water cloth first (damp not wet).
I have isopropyl alcohol wipes at work. I clean my whole phone with them. I usually clean my screen with them prior to applying a new screen protector, makes it adhere better.

I've always used windex& bounty.
Take a sheet of Bounty, rip it in half, make it into a small square piece, spray some windex on one square, clean phone, use other piece to dry :)

First, have Ghost Armor applied on day one, when the Passport is first removed from the box. The screen protector can be cleaned with a non-alcohol screen cleaner for eyeglasses or led monitors. The Ghost Armor staff uses a drop or two of soap in an ounce of water, with a fiber cloth (facial tissue leaves small filaments). Their instructions can be found online.
Exactly what I've been doing for years with all my devices(laptops, desktops, ipod, phones, etc, etc). Never had a scratch or anything else, and my screens are crystal clear when done.

Loaded the super secret noh2o.bar file, works great
Actually I just use my sleeve or the leg of my jeans.
For the people that are questioning why we are cleaning our screens.
I am not cleaning my screen but more so cleaning the entire phone.
