In particular look at the Pebble, it's your best bet, along with this app.....

I use a Pebble with talk2watch pro. Works well, but cannot see contents of BBM messages, only the sender. Texts and email work great though.

May ask if anyone has a Chronowing in awhile. That watch looks really nice, and it'll be good to see whether the Android app works well.

Eventually I will end up getting an Android wear device (I have an android in addition to my Z30), and when I do I will do some testing and report back. I will also let you guys know how the Android Hotwatch app works, IF they ever ship my Hotwatch! I can report that the Martian Notifier has extremely limited function on a BB10 device and is not usable in any real fashion.

Pebble is the way to go!

Mona I would also love to see the Moto 360 working with Blackberry. Not bothered about maps and search etc, would just like it to display notifications, texts and calls.

Surely a Crackberry brainbox can figure out some software to make that happen??

I use Pebble Steel, and it works well with the Passport (and Z30 before that). The Pebble Steel Android app works for some things, such as installing additional apps on the watch, but Talk2Watch, a native BB10 app, does a great job with notifications. I can read all of my email & Twitter notifications from my watch. Also, I can control music if the music app is started on my Passport. Kinda cool...

Oh...you'll get notification of incoming calls, but the caller id won't show...which is less than ideal. Still pretty useful.

Caller ID is coming. Us Beta Testers have it in our version of Talk2watch pro beta

Battery life in the beta isn't great though. (the Pebble, not the phone)

I got a pebble steel last week after months of deciding, sadly I sent it back, I just did not see the point in it, the display is so small and the watch looked silly on my wrist, I'm sure a lot of users love it but for me it did not add much, still easier just to look at my phone, plus 189.00 was way to expensive for what it is.

I'll wait and see if pebble are planning a bigger watch face and possibly a colour version. Or ideally a native bb10 watch, I have a feeling ill be waiting a long time.

There was a post which I can't find where someone did a mock up of a bb10 watch which looked great!

there is a thread with Sony SmartWatch2 working. It predates Android Wear yet still has over 300 apps in play store for it. Very sleek, over a year old and you can see wear Moto and LG both got design inspirations from. Sony Ericsson has had a 6yr head start that they've squandered. Have a quick search to consider this one. If not look for devs that have Moto 360 supported and tested.

BlackBerry - Accept no substitute. Period!

Hopefully I will know soon! The company has told me they have no BB plans, BUT I intend to try to get the Android app to work on my Z30. Once I have my Hotwatch I will report back on my success or failure.

I had one for a few days until I send it back. Took almost a month to get my money back.

It was about 2 years ago and back then at least it was big, clumsy to use, software was pretty much same as in 1990's tamagotchi..

It is the only smart watch that I have tried and little anger came still on top (fighting over getting my money back) so I might not be the best to judge the watch
