Really? You can't find 7Digital in BlackBerry World?

There is also Amazon Music, for that matter.

I agree that 7 Digital is not good. It's hard to believe that the semi-official app for buying music is an Android port.

I use 7Digital. It has some issues but I find what I want and the purchase/download process is simple enough.

The problem with 7 Digital is there is no easy way to pick a save folder.

I normally wouldn't download an app that has only 2 stars for a rating, but I'll test it out

    ITunes works fine for me.
Also, I buy CDs and vinyl records. I buy from Amazon. No need to limit to just one source.

On the device itself I would go with Amazon.

I couldn't find all the music I want on 7 digital.. plus the prices seemed a bit higher. I just went to Amazon, put the browser in desktop mode, and I was able to buy and download straight to the device.

Yes, that's a reasonable option as well.
Amazon has the selection, the prices are in par with most other sources, and no DRM.

I currently have the Amazon Music app installed from Snap and have found it to work excellent on my Passport. Allows me to download free Prime music and I have bought several alums with the app as well. Purchased music downloads where you want it and the BlackBerry music app picks up the new music and away you go. Or you can play them from the amazon app itself.

You know iTunes has no DRM now either. Hasn't for years.
And the standard AAC files play just fine on any modern smartphone.

I haven't bought music in over 6 months as I Listen to Spotify on my passport all day everyday. I used to have Itunes on my old pc but it would crash. I'll have to check out the Amazon Music App.

There definitely needs to be a better app. Nothing in the Amazon or Blackberry app stores is really good. I could go the Snap route and get Amazon Mp3 but I really shouldn't have to.

Can you move songs from amazon to the music folder? I know on the iPhone you had to jailbreak your phone in order to put music in your folder, which was not downloaded from slimetunes.

I really wish that we could have more options with the Amazon deal. I'm not sure what kind of deal BlackBerry now has with 7Digital but I hope that it isn't an 'exclusivity' deal for them because, I agree, it's not the best. Amazon Prime, though I don't use it really at all at this point, would potentially give us back a huge music [and movie and tv] selection which is very much missing from the BlackBerry experience.
While I do think BlackBerry can get away with hiding behind their 'business' image, I don't know of many business professionals who don't listen to music and watch movies. In fact, I'm sorry to stereotype, but those are the types of people who are most likely to purchase their media legitimately. Now, if only we had a viable means to do that... Google play? No. iTunes? Not directly. Amazon? Please help!

Best solution is to get a sd card (quality sd card) and load it up with all the music you want. From iTunes or wherever.
