He's saying that carriers are removing this update due to issues with it.

As for my own update, the camera looks WICKED better... pictures take super fast, they're more clear, no motion blur. The voice to text function is stupid fast, almost no delay, and APPEARS to be more accurate in its dictation.

Also, I have an android app I use all day, every day. Since this morning it's been working faster and smoother than it ever has before. It honestly feels like it could be a native app at this point.

Is there a a difference between the OTA download and the side loaded one via Sachessi? I've have that since it came out. I haven't seen any issues other than the ISSUE of the whole Android on BB10 deal.

The Sachesi method basically emulates an OTA update. So, the effect is the same.

Well for sure my dictation is insanely faster and more accurate, and for sure my battery life is fantastic at this point in the day.

    "New OS effect".

10.3.3 is essentially unchanged from 10.3.2.

I'm not saying that you're right or wrong, but a 500+mb update sure equals a lOT of changes in operating system architecture. All of these things I've listed since could possibly be a large coincidence. We'll know more in the next few days.

I've been running 10.3.3 on a slew of devices since it came out in DEV format. I wish it were not so, but the core OS remains unchanged. The update was large only because they chose to do it that way, instead of sending file deltas.

Do these updates refresh the OS itself then? Maybe certain modules were refreshed to OEM and that's what I'm experiencing?

An OS install usually gives everything a good kick in the pants. Sometimes it's a positive thing, and other times it messes things up necessitating a fresh install with an autoloader. You are one of the lucky ones.

    Well then don't.

It's just bug fixes and a few tweaks to the browser.

Responding to update questions now that I have updated both Classic and Passport via OTA. Just 48 hrs in, but all seems fine - fast and stable. Blend still works, and so does Link, at least on my computers where the app still works (e.g., older Mac Mini running 10.7.5).

Maybe a coincidence, but I haven't had double typing since the update either. Android apps still running eons faster and smoother (but they're still garbage).

Glad to know I wasn't the only one experiencing the double typing issue. Hope they fixed it with this update
