It happens both on my passport and z10 on a variety of websites. it's no real issue other than being annoying. But it never seemed to happen before now it's started on both phones in past month. Just wanted to see if anyone else had this happen

Yeah, for the first time today, a browser crash. Granted, I've only had my Passport for a couple weeks..

No crashes but sometimes weird stuff also. I think the upcoming update already floating around may help...

Yeah, I hope that BlackBerry will address that issue and improvement on the next BB10 updates.

It only crashes when I have two tabs open with videos, so I figure it's an html5 issue, if I'm not mistaken that's what the browser has? Didn't have this problem before. It does usually crash after 5-10 minutes though.

It pretty much crashes for ALL 'wikia' websites I've tried. Really annoying and only started in the last two OS updates. PassportSQW100-1/10.3.2.2813 did not fix.

Please remind me which 'official' channel is still left for us to report this stuff? The Beta Zone?

Because I cannot think of one channel that still has an active OS feedback system.

The Jira System, which was been around for longer than I can remember.

It's the only way to get their attention these days.

I have no problem with the web browser crashing.
If you are livestreaming video this may happen if you do not have enough bandwidth in your wi-fi or cellular connection.
You can clear history and cookies and restart the browser.
As a rule, websites like to leave cookies to track you. I regularly delete them, once per day.
I watch BBC world News live on my passport, z30, or playBook everyday.
Never had to restart the passport because it has better reception and faster processor than the other two.

Don't think it has anything to do with the browser. If it did, you would have experienced this problem since the last OS update.

You're not understanding the problem the rest of us have, it's nothing to do with bandwidth or processor speed it's a issue with the WebView, open a Wiki page like described above and you'll see it.

Ah, that developer focused feedback site? I didn't realise that was open for anyone to use, nor that they actually still manage that actively.

    I'll give it a go!

I have the same issue with Wikia pages but I'm not complaining. Those sites are hotbeds for malware and other viruses. It's probably just the browser protecting your phone.

I have a feeling it just has to do with the content type. Text only works, but as soon as it uses embedded video or animated images it throws a fit.
