I am sure this was asked before but can't find something recent. Which weather app provide storm alert or heat alert...etc. All those alerts come for free for iOS and Android so I hope you guys can tell the free ones too.

AccuWeather is free and has alerts (I use the one in Google Play).

I will give that a try although everyone is talking about beweather pro. So if AccuWeather didn't deliver I will check out beweather

I use accuweather. The app doesn't have alerts, but you can sign up for alerts on their website and have them sent to email.

Actually they do. I just installed and it asks you the first time you access it and also it's there under settings.

Thanks. I've had the app since bb10.0. I guess I never looked at the updates.

Take a look at 1Weather in both Play Store and the Amazon Appstore. It has the notifications, plus a lot of good weather data in easily readable form. It's become my favorite for both accuracy and because it's free.

The main reason I have stuck with accuweather is that it provides snow accumulation forecasts. For some reason many I have tried to do provide that.

Be weather pro is great I think it's 4$ but we'll worth it for a native app. Since bb10 launch I've had it and not one issue. Definitely one of my five go to must have apps. Happy hunting.
