Hello, all. I am trying to set up a basic voice mail as per the instructions on the AT&T website, but every time I call into the voice mail system, it doesn't prompt me to enter a password. Would I need to call AT&T? I've never set up VM on my previous phone and this is an upgrade to the phone, activated almost a week ago.

Much appreciated if any one of you could help. It's not terribly important, but considering my sis tried to call me at 7 in the morning, it does make me a bit miffed she couldn't leave a message.

Sometimes with services changes the code provisions for your services may or may not all reset. They just have to reset your voicemail service.

Okay. So is it just waiting or do I still need to call AT&T to reset it? I've got about 50 or so days left till I need to set up my inbox before it goes poof, according to the AT&T website.
