Out of curiosity, why didn't they pursue this? They clearly already put in the work, besides, it looks smooth enough.
Passport.
As far as I know the 1:1 ratio isn't officially supported for Android.
Why have android crap. BB10 os is the best!

Hey guy's multiboot on passeport Will be great or just dalvik virtual machine in first plan when you want to use android apps or why android runtime in 6.0 and google Play service compatibilit Will be great.

So would a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.
Equally likely.
That can't be their argument. I certainly hope not.
Android is an open system, this shouldn't be a problem to tweak, official or not. Besides, if they managed to adjust the ratio in our Android Runtime, why not use the same method?
Android is open but Google is not, thats a major distinction that must be taken into account. Google does not want to certify 1:1 ratio devices, does not want to modify testing suites, and does not want to mandate that devs take it into acct when making apps, thus Classic/Passport etc will never get Google Android and the apps that go along with it.
I have an idea. Let's make a Passport that runs BB10 and then develop for it. That would be awesome! Thanks.
Seeing how the video discussed is from August 2015, and that it's been discussed ad nauseum previously, we're going to close this thread.
