    My recorded videos and downloaded movies don't play. I get a lengthy error message.

    Looks like you tried to play movies bought from BlackBerry World when it still had movies section that have DRM applied. Unfortunately the DRM basically locked the movies (I think) to the OS and the device the movies were downloaded to. You just need to re-download the movies from BlackBerry World under My World.
