I'm sorry this stupid forum doesn't let me put a link here because I have less than 10 posts. It's viber 4.3.3.67 and I've downloaded it from apk4fun.
The other things I have is Google play services, pached version by cobalt.
But now with viber I can make calls. Before this having the latest version I couldn't make or answer any calls! It would get disconnected.
Wow! I certainly hope that there will be no problems when I try this myself. :)

After u installed it, make sure to zoom out, and then go to viber setting > display, change default background, and in the list scroll down to the end and choose one of the first simple backgrounds

BlackBerry Passport 10.3.1.2072 w/ 10.3.1.1155 radio
In that case it's crap not working for me, downloaded version 4.3.3.67 and either it says "unfortunately viber has stopped" before using it, or it just gets stuck.
Ur downloading the latest version. This version won't work well, u can't make calls or answer calls. Will get disconnected always.
Actually my OS version is 10.3.0.908 , maybe u guys r using different version.
That's my BlackBerry version too, and I downloaded 4.3.3.67, twice, didn't work I'm afraid.
Did u install blackberry Google ID and Google services? Just try to install those and retry it might help.
I wanted to share my Viber experience on my Passport.
Before buying the Passport, it's a little disappointing that there is this possibility that I will be having problems making it work since I've been reading in the forums that for others it still worked, while for some it didn't. And the viber app from other app stores will not function or at least open. But I still bought the PP for its innovative specs and wider screen and thought that maybe I can still manage without Viber.
Luckily for me, I didn't have problems transferring my data from my Z10 to the Passport using BlackBerry Link as others did. Where I had difficulty was using the Device Switch, which made me resort to BB Link. The Viber version from my Z10 is working ok in the Passport and yes, it's better with the zoom out mode. I'm sooo happy! Hehe. Since I can still catch up with group chats. I still have to see if anything will go wrong if someone calls me on viber.
So if you have viber working in your older BlackBerry device, you can make it work in your passport via BlackBerry Link. Though I've been reading from others that they were having problems switching devices using BlackBerry link and instead worked well with Device Switch app. Well, I guess it's just luck whichever works for you. Good luck then!

Is it possible to use Sachesi to extract the bar file from the working version on the Z10 and then post it so that it can be sideloaded? I don't use Viber, but I'm helping a friend who came from iOS, so the restore from Z10 trick isn't an option.
