    Hi,

I tried to copy a file to my MicroSD card on my Passport from my Laptop using Windows (without using Link)
The copying speed is very low, sometimes, it was 0 KB/s, normally, it was xx KB/s!

What is the problem and how to solve?
It happens to me all the time!

What type of card are you using. I've got a 64g SanDisk Ultra and transfer speeds are super fast.

Same here. Transferred files last night to my 60 gig SanDisk. Slow it was. Did not use link as well.

Just a thought as I have no idea how it works but would having media card encryption turned on slow it down?

It's always best to transfer using a ultra high speed xc card and a usb 3.0 port due to higher power.

I encountered this as well. Mass Storage Mode is the go to procedure for copying files.

I think it is not problem with the card because if I insert it in a adapter and use it as a normal USB flash, it works fine!
I don't encrypt the card too!
    I still don't know why!
