I use BBM mostly, but you can also video call with the android versions of Skype and WeChat. Those are the 3 that I have used, I am not sure of the other apps.

No. It's because BB10 to Android/iOS is not possible at the moment. Not holding my breath on it changing either.

First thing I need to ask is, are you able to make even audio calls? I stay in Oman here they blocked it. About your query, you can only make audio calls to ios and android users video between blackberry and other mobile OS is not supported. I use VPN on my passport to make audio calls to android and ios users and video calls to any blackberry 10 supported device. Interestingly neither on android or ios BBM auido and video calls works without VPN

Its sad how Blackberry has dropped the ball on this simple task. Making BBM video across the board.

Skype has always done the trick for me.

BlackBerry has autism and they decided to make cross platform BBM video work only between iOS and Android.

Someone mentioned zoom earlier. It is the best cross platform video audio and group calling app with fluidity. This app is open all over the world without restrictions. It's fluid work even on 3g. After installing zoom I stopped using other video calling apps on blackberry passport. Now my meetings and calls are so effortless. Guys don't waste time on Skype etc... just get zoom

Just go to blackberry world and search for zoom. The best thing about it is you can start a meeting and give to any person who have zoom. They can join you. If you regularly call someone just add them to contacts so that you can call them directly. See the attachment

Zoom was a good idea! kudos, raam4u. Skype is what I use to video chat with my wife when I'm using BlackBerry 10.

@simeon... as I said keep all video apps a side and use this app. It is built for blackberry unlike you download from other stores some apps like Skype etc... you need to try zoom to believe it's true power. You can even share your screen of blackberry device to any zoom caller... its blazing fast excellent quality, adjust automatically as per your signal strength.... rest of the video apps are half backed. BBM is outstanding but it is blocked in some countries, and no confidence or video call to other platforms. Any way I suffered a lot due to lack of native video calling app and experimented with many apps. I just want others not to waste time. That is why I share about zoom which is free and available on every mobile OS.
    Thanks

Fun fact. BBM Meetings was actually Zoom (or you can say powered by Zoom). When the BBM Meetings was removed, Zoom released its original Zoom app on BlackBerry World.

No worries on the OS you have at least another year or two before real issues arise. As for video I use BBM and if they get their act together it will be cross platform.....Skype is my option until BBM is fixed.
