The pics with the on-screen keys makes the Passport look like a powerhouse....but it does take away valuable screen real estate when in action, like most have commented.

The 3 rows is a good move, imo...giving the device more screen.

The hard qwerty keys seem "wide-er" and somewhat naked than what people are used to seeing, like some people have commented already....

So it leads me to ask someone with photoshop skills:

Can you make the hard keys a bit more narrow and add 3 keys, on both sides of the qwerty keys?

Basically 6 "utility keys", 3 on each side

The gaps between the keyboard is essential to the design. The gaps (or black bars) both have to deal with the touch-sensitivity feedback for the hardware keyboard. The other purpose is serves, is to align the keys with the screen. This gap makes the typing experience more justified in the center. Similar to the gaps you have on the side of your Z30 or Z10 - it makes typing more fluid.

Adding extra keys would be an interesting concept, but is very improbable for a device with this technology.

I had made a concept a couple of weeks ago with a fourth row. I totally agree, would've been nice if the passport had a 4th row.
