I am curious how is making and answering phone calls like on the passport. Is more like the Z30 compared to the Q10? Has there been any video leaks of the passport actually being used to make or answer a phone call?

I'm sure it will be handled just like it is on the Q10. Touch screen buttons for Call and End, dial pad, etc. I don't expect any radical departure from current BlackBerrys on call management. Maybe the on-screen buttons will be larger with the expanded 4.5" screen, but...

I have been saying the same thing all along. All the pictures and videos we have seen, is of the Passport doing everything else but how it looks up to someone's ear.

    Blackberry always.....

10.3 haas the normal slide to answer slide to decline option as 10.2.1 so assuming it will be that.

Classic will be the only BlackBerry that would be any different.

I just hope that it comes with some type of recognition during calls that buttons and gestures don't activate, cause I have to keep pressing the sleep button on my Z30 during calls.

My reason for the question is because I notice that on all the pictures and videos we have seen of the passport that on the keyboard there are no numbers. With the Q10 you can use the buttons on the keyboard to make a phone call, so I was wondering would the same be true for the passport even though it is clear that the keyboard looks like it just design for text. Another thing I wanted to know could you slide on the keyboard to answer and/or end a phone call.

I can honestly say I rarely actually "Dial" a number...

Either they are in my contacts (Enterprise) or get a number in text/BBM/email then I just c/p into contacts then select for dial

That being said, I suspect he dial pad is available on the screen?

Keyboard will be mapped to the on screen virtual numbers. Similar when you hit 'SYM' button on the Q10 now.

No idea about the slide to answer on the keyboard.

I would think that BlackBerry will limit the utilization of the keyboard a little bit then roll out some updates in future OS releases.
