    I use a Plantronics bluetooth headset all day paired with my Passport. When I get a call, my headset gives me a alert to either answer or ignore the call....but the ringer on my phone also goes off. So, does anyone know of a way to silence the ringer on my phone when I get an incoming call when using a headset?...I don't see any option in the PP settings to silence the ringer when using a headset...thanks! Bill

    I think it depends on the headset as my Passport doesnt ring when my headset is on my ear, only my headset alerts me

    Set your phone to silent. With bluetooth on my phone will not ring on incoming calls.

    Ok, so I would have to go back and forth into the settings to turn ringer on and off...there's no shortcut or toggle app to do that?...thanks, Bill

    From the home screen swip down from the top. You should see Notification, Tap on the Bell icon. Easy pasy

    Yeah and alternately when you have a wired headset plugged in the phone rings but not through the headset but you do hear notifications fine through the wired headset. Stupid there is not options for this.

    When bluetooth is connected you don't get notifications through the bluetooth headset but you do hear it ring. Stupid. Again!
