Can anyone tell me what your speeds are like?

My LTE is so fast that I get annoyed when I'm downloading things and turn off my wifi.

If any of you guys have an ac wifi router maybe you could do some test downloads using LTE and your wifi and tell me what your findings are?

Passport is the only BlackBerry with the 802.11ac band. I have the ac router but nothing to play with.

I get over a 100 mbs with mine. That's with netgear nighthawk 7000 router. That's my internet speed not bothered to test to the network shares.

Haha, funny, thought about buying an wifi-AC router just yesterday.... :-)

Thanks for sharing. So it's defo the go if you want fast local sharing. Our ADSL is lacklustre, we're getting fibre in the area next year or so, might not bother...

Yep ac the way to go. Wouldn't go too mad though the max the passport can connect is 433 I think. Many routers will go more than double this. You might get a bargain on a slower version. Unless of course you want to use the better bandwidth with other fast ac devices.

Yes, me too, 433Mbps is what you should expect with 802.11 ac. Anything 150 Mbps is probably connected to 802.11 N.

    3 x 150 @ 2.4Ghz + 3 x 433 @ 5Ghz = 1750Mbps router.

Thanks guys. I have an ac router but no toys to connect to it. So if I'm reading this right 433Mpbs would be way faster than LTE. That would be amazing because right now my LTE makes my wifi connection seem slow.

Keep in mind that is theoretical bandwidth and downloads will still limited by your ISP.

I have an AC1600 router with Road Runner Lightning but my LTE downloads just as fast or faster then my wifi.
