Almost every time I connect a usb thumb drive via otg cable, my Passport will not detect it. The light on the thumb drive flashes. And that's it. So, I end up having to reboot the Passport, then it will detect the drive.

I searched for this issue in the forums to no avail. Is this a known issue with the hard ware or just software ver. I have OS 10.3.2.2876.

I have the same issue - USB OTG worked fine on my passport - but now does not - I can no longer find an attached USB device with file manager (although the Passport recognises - and tells me when a USB device is attached)

I have just solved this. The USB option must have been turned off during the upgrade - turn it black on and all is well

Are you using NTFS file format? Mine worked again when I switched my OTG back to fat32.

I plug in a Philips dictation machine -so as to upload files - so the card in it is FAT 32
