My first BlackBerry was the Z30 and i love a couple of things about it.

1- its back. The carbon fibre back feels soooo good that i keep rubbing it on my face.

2- its look. The phone in itself is the best looking BlackBerry 10 phone with the possible exception of a BlackBerry Passport Red.

3- speakers. There are but few phones like the htc one series with its boom sound audio that beat the BlackBerry Z30 speakers. The BlackBerry Z30 speakers are really good.

4- keyboard. The keyboard on the BlackBerry Z30 is the best virtual keyboard on any smartphone. Its 5 inch display is big and nice for a spacious keyboard. And ofcourse its BlackBerry's virtual keyboard so it is obvious that it will be the best.

5- speed and performance. BlackBerry 10 devices never lag. My Z30 is as fast as my old s6 edge even when s6's hardware is miles ahead of Z30.

6-screen. The BlackBerry Z30 has the largest screen on any BlackBerry 10 smartphone.

7- battery life. This phone has a really awesome battery life. It goes on and on and on. This feature makes this phone a workhorse.

8- its size. It is said that 5 inches is the perfect size for a smartphone. Thats true. 5 inches is the perfect blend between pocketability and content enjoyment.

Thats why i love my z30.

BlackBerry Passport. Then Z30. Then BlackBerry Passport X 2

Love the play/pause button. I seriously don't know why every phone does not have this. I think android only allows the Mercury to mute not pause. Not sure if there is a work around to let it function as a pause button.

Pearl Flip. It was my first foray into the smartphone realm.

It was a nice little transition from a clamshell phone.

All of them great. Priv used as tablet. The best are Passport Silver Edition and Z 30.

My first was a red BlackBerry 8330.
What was there not to like about it?

The phone had holster response. A drop in place charging cradle.
At the time it was the best smart phone around. Better than iOS and Android.
I loved the fact I was able to customize the whole phone. Changed the housing to a pearl white, the keyboard to silver, and the track ball to blue. No one had a smartphone that looked like mine at the time.

Curve 8520, and if you're asking me to look at it now, absolutely nothing. It was a hand-me-down and the previous owner managed to cover the camera lens in who-knows-what.

Do you remember the 2 gold spots on the back of the 8330?
They were contact points for a desktop charger stand. Best charger I ever had.

7230. Email was so fast! I remember sending myself mail from different accounts with a stopwatch in hand.

Plus I could actually respond. I wasn't just checking to see that something needed a response and then going back to my computer to actually send it. It was all right there, right now.

    Heady days.

BlackBerry Curve 9300 - small and very light, fits on any pocket, battery lasts for 3 days (sometimes 4), having a trackpad makes it easy to navigate through the menu.

Bold 9000. Not the first BlackBerry I got my hand on but the first one which I really put into use. Love it.
I was in an airport between flights and saw a guy typing on a 9000. It looked amazing and I just stood there staring at the phone. A month later, there was a training and during a break, the speaker had a sonar ping out of one of his pocket. It was the Bold 9000, and I had the chance to play with it. Two months after that, I had my own 9000.
