some people have problems with the notification volume. I personally do not have any issues with this OS so my advice would be load it up.
I got it and love it. No problems. The calendar is OK (barely) - I liked the 10.2 calendar a lot better. Also the print in the Hub is "finer" and not as easily read - but "fine".
