I have a unlocked passport with att service, since changing from my torch to this I cant seem to get the voice mail indicator to show up and tell me I have messages waiting, in fact I don't even know which side it would be located on when it would appear.
second I had att do their magic, and we turned phone off and restarted the phone nothing, if I call my voice mail there are messages but nothing to indicate I should check for messages that I missed, I have set up visual voice mail also , but that too never shows a message even if I have one..Three calls to att and no one knows?

I should note that I have made three separate long calls to att tech support to no avail, I am using release 10.3.1.1779

some crack head must have an answer

I had an unlocked Passport running on AT&T for a bit running one of the 10.3.1 OS's, visual voicemail worked for me, so they should be able to get it working properly for you. Lean on AT&T until they fix it. If you can, go into one of the stores and don't leave until it works.

I'm about 98% sure that AT&T uses Visual VoiceMail. I have a few clients that use BB10 phones & I'm pretty sure that's what they use.

One of them is using a Z30 and it works fine. He's had one with 10.2.1 and one running 10.3.1.2744.

I called my VM and went into administrative options where I set up a VM password. that is what worked for me. I hope this helps others who had the same issue.

For me all it usually takes on a new phone or one without VVM set up yet is to call voicemail, enter the password and then hang up, at which point VVM prompts me for the password and begins downloading messages.

I get my messages but the only MWI I've seen on BB10 is on the lock screen. I sure miss that figure 8 looking thing that was on BBOS...
