Ok so i followed the instructions to close the contacts app and reopen it to apply changes. It never turned dark like my Q10.

I even tried rebooting the phone after i switched on the dark option. Has anyone successfully did it?

Try sliding that little dohickey to the right before you close the app.

Yes that's what i did..

That's odd. Now when i change any option on the contacts settings, they don't change.

Meaning let's say i switched the 'last name first' to 'first name first', closed the contact app, reopen again, it will be back to the previous one.

Looks like the phone is unable to register my selection.
