Got mine to, I was about 10th in the queue! No accessories available at all, which is annoying.. wanted a case for it!! They have plenty in stock, I'd say even if you head down after work you will get one.

I don't know how you worked that out because:

US$599 (before sales tax) = 367 before VAT
UK VAT = 73.50, therefore total UK price 440.50

    That's a mark-up of 88.50 / $145.

Guys, I right in saying that the SIM from my z30 will not fit in the Passport?
    Thanks.

EDIT: Just realised I have got a MicroSIM and need a NanoSIM for the Passport, and as there are no Vodaphone shops near me, I would not be able to use the phone now anyway. So, told the Mrs not to bother going down and picking me one up.

So I still haven't opened this yet...! I'm really undecided on whether to open it or wait for details on CPW price... Would it be worth holding on or should I just open the damn thing?!

My mistake was looking at Canadian price by mistake.

Yep it's a bloody rip off. And one that blackberry should be ashamed of since the UK is still a major market.

I know it is cheeky but I do miss the days when Blackberry used to give you a sleeve for your phone. It helped tide you over until you could get a better cover.

Yeah I agree. They had zero accessories too. I asked the woman if they had any and she said "no not yet". Seems strange to launch a product without some accessories!

Just got home, decided not to buy it as I will wait a bit.

My honest opinion of the phone is that it is definitely different, not meant for everyone. I loved it but I had a few issues typing on the one the rep gave me to try out. Screen is super sharp and the camera is pretty damn good compared to the z30 I have, did a comparison shot of both.

As for typing, if u swipe up too far up u end up putting punctuation into the sentence. Other than that I thought it was absolutely brilliant, very wide and will take some time getting used to.

Like I said, I'll wait a few weeks for the hype to die down then see what the prices are like. It's not like my z30 is out of date or slow, I might hang fire till the classic comes out then make up my mind as to what to do.

It really is a nice piece of kit tho, wide but also thin at the same time.

There is always accessories, as there is a cover for the device in most pics... it's just a shame they did not sell it on launch day

Well my wait for the price to drop didn't last too long lol. Bought one from BlackBerry shop as I someone mentioned a trick, change the currency from GBP to euros...pay via PayPal when u check out and it cones out to 434 uk pounds delivered.

Not sure if they will honour it as I'm from the uk but if they do then I've saved myself about 90 pounds. Haven't received a confirmation email as I ordered it a little while ago.

Fingers crossed it goes through. I could have waited longer but decided 434 is probably the max I'll pay for it.

They can't go back on it. You hear stories about it only being valid once the order is formally accepted and shipped but if you threaten to launch a media storm on twitter or FB about the injustice they won't want the negative publicity. It'll be interesting to see if they "correct" the website

No customs duty within the EU, and no extra VAT unless it's coming from an EU special territory, which it won't be. Go onto the store and put any other item in your basket, switch to EUR and the price recalculates. With the passport it stays at 529 EUR. Happy days.

So finally managed to get round to ordering a passport from mobile phones direct. Called them up earlier this morning and they said they have them in stock so should have mine by tomorrow.

Looking forward to getting my hands on it. Definitely fell in love with it on launch day at Selfridges.

If anyone is asking, bought it outright for 440 uk pounds delivered. Cheapest I have seen it online unlike other places selling it for 530 or 485 uk pounds.
