I popped into 5 Carphone Warehouse stores in central London. All the employees knew about the Passport release however they are advising the device being sold in store will probably begin early to mid Oct.

Thanks for the update. Good that they knew about the Passport, but not so great that it still seems so far away. I know it's only a matter of weeks if their information is correct, but I feel like I've been waiting forever to get my hands on this device!!
At least we know CPW will definitely be getting it, so that's something at least!
This is in line with some of the noise I heard. Launch on the 24th. Available in EMEA mid to late October. Other regions sometime in November.

Just a little update, we will supposedly be able to pre-order the device from Carphone Warehouse instore, the day after the launch. I was told that by two of the five stores I visited.
I can confirm the pre order date ash, but I've been told to watch the 27th, again might not be accurate who knows.

I wish there was some official UK Blackberry news outlet. I miss their facebook page it was always so informative,
It's now showing on the Coming Soon page of the CPW site, with a date of "September 2014"
