Just use m.uber.com in your Web browser, it's just as good as the app.

You stay logged in and everything too.

I downloaded it from snap. It worked a while but stopped when I accidentally deleted and reinstalled it... sucks because it was really useful

I have used m.uber.com after not having success with the app. It seems to function much like an app.

    Thanks
I did try different APK API sideloading with not much success. So I will go directly on the Web site.

This was one of the very few times I was disappointed that I could not get an app on BlackBerry.

I ended up having to register with Uber on a PC and go through a day back and forth between support and finally got it working in the m.uber.com link.

FYI, When you first setup using the mobile site you will not have the ability to schedule pickup. You need to go through the uber site to enable website access.

    What country are you in?

The mobile site sign in for me in the U.S. goes like this.. sign in, schedule pickup..

I never had to go onto the regular uber site from my computer to do anything.

You need a patched version of the app to work properly. Then it works fine. Laggy, but fine. Not sure if the app or the M site is better. Both kind of suck, but they function.

Just use mobile site the android app apparently crashes for most

Just be advised you need to contact support from Uber to have your profile enabled on their mobile site and their customer service is kind of inefficient.

What's lacking other than Uber Eats? I've used m.uber.com where I live in LA and also in London and Dubai, and it has never not worked.

I'm able to get a ride, see the car moving towards me, rate the driver, change my profile and payment info.

What exactly do you do on the app that you can't do on the mobile site?

Enter destination once in car, for one. It is also not nearly as smooth as a native app on Android or iOS. It works, but no way it's as good.

By the way, I have no idea what all this talk is about contacting Uber customer support to use the mobile web app. I did nothing of the kind, and it works fine.

It seems that after registering for Uber, many Blackberry users are having an issue verifying their mobile numbers. This includes me... I'm currently trying to find out how to contact them about it. If you didn't have to go through this then who knows why...
