    With previous phones, I could type away on a text or email while talking on my phone at the same time. With the passport, I get complaints from the person I am talking too. Is there a setting that would help this?

    All of my old BlackBerrys with physical keyboard did this including the 9900, 9800, and 8900. What they're hearing is the clicking. Maybe you can try typing slower or gently.
