I type a lot of phone numbers in my text messages. It's getting annoying having to use the touchscreen keypad, and the 0 is in a weird place.

It probably is now but you just have to get used to it and you'll get faster.

I dunno. Used to be able to hold ALT and type fast on buttons. Now gotta search and type with only left thumb... sooo slow to type out a phone number lol!

I thought numbers are mapped to physical keys when they come up on screen. Should be easier for you now as you don't need to keep pressing the alt key. I still don't have my passport delivered...so can't confirm.

I agrees about the 0 but after 2 days I'm already use to it. Give it time.

There are two ways to type numbers. One way is to bring up touchscreen keypad, and you can type numbers. Second way is to swipe down on keyboard, which brings up a touchscreen keypad with button map... but only good for typing one number at a time. Then it automatically closes.

To avoid it closing on you hold down the virtual key in the bottom right corner (down arrow)

Also, instead of swiping down the keyboard press the "123" on the virtual keyboard and press numbers on the physical keyboard. I hope this will let you type numbers continuously.

Since the OP has found the way to easily type the numbers using physical keyboard can the Mods change the title accordingly? So the title won't be misunderstood as typing numbers are really not that hard on the PP, its just different from the usual way

I dont know if this is mentioned above. Press the virtual keyboard 123 but hold it, the mapping will appear. Then you can use key board to enter numbers.

My problem with the keyboard is the flip up. I am ok on left and right side. But from center it is hit and miss.
