On my Q10, I could turn the screen on by pressing the "S" key, but that doesn't seem to work anymore on the Passport. Is there any way to enable it?
Thanks.

Should be with any number key but if the passport doesnt have numbers on it then I dunno. I don't have one...
Actually with the Q10 and Q5 u could turn on the screen by pressing any of the number keys. Sadly the passport's keypad doesn't have numbers so I guess u can't get that feature

The U key will wake the device and take you to the lock screen.
Not on mine.

working on newest (unnoficial) 10.3.1.x firmware
Yup. "U" key works. Mine is running on a 10.3.1.1154 passport. I guess this comes in very handy for those who frequently accidentally unlock/dial the phone when its in their pockets. You can disable the "swipe to unlock", use the "u" key to check lock screen notifications instead; and power button to bypass the lock screen and go straight to your previous screen activity.

Yes, the U key is part of 10.3.1 only, U for unlock (can't be changed) and L for lock (can be changed on settings > shortcuts). If you just press U, it wakes the screen, but a quick U+Send takes you to the password screen.
