Hello all in CB land, I am asking a question that surely has been answered a while back. I have looked through the posts and I am frustrated with searching, but I couldn't confirm that the shutter sound can be turned off in Passport? If so a link would be very Christmas of you. If you wish, setting your profile to silent will also silence the camera. I believe it was introduced in 10.3.1 or so.

Doesn't work for me. Camera still makes noise in Silent mode, as does media playing. Using 10.3.2.2813 but it was the same in previous 10.3.2 versions.

Yes, OG. Look at my signature. And I only have my PP for like 4 months now so I doubt it has anything to do with not having clean enough OS files.

OP are you running stock OS or a leaked version.
On a leaked version no one is going to be of much help as the leaked versions don't always run like Original OS.

On the original OS putting the device to silent should do it.
If not, I would have to recommend an OS reload to rebuild the file that controls the shutter sound while in silent mode.

IMHO Camera ++ is absolutely worth the price and my first choice for pictures on the passport. It seems to take solid advantage of the hardware and renders some awesome pictures
