To those who upgraded to 10.3.2....

Do you guys notice a memory leak with the input system? Mine seems to do it whenever I switch input methods (ALT+ENTER) when in the browser. When I press they key combo, it displays the input selection but at the same time it sends a submit on the text field / address bar. That's where the memory leak seem to happen. Mine shoots from around 50MB to more than 200MB, peaking at 499.3MB yestereday.

I am from Singapore. And i am using official OS updates, no issues on using pinyin to type traditional chinese words, which i have been doing every day.
The thing about pinyin is that should the user is a hongkonger, the user will not get use to it unless they know what's the correct pronunciation to the characters they're looking for.
For example... "gam-geh-wa" in cantonese, which is "in this case". When using mandarin pinyin, i have to look for the characters by keying,"gan ji hua". Androids google keyboard seems to ease this out, if i keyed, "gam-ge-hua". Windows, i will have to key,"xian-ge-hua".

For new users of the BBOS10, i suggest that you temporary switch your phone's region to HongKong/Macau SAR for a few days after you got your new phone, before switching back to Singapore or other countries where you're from if you're using traditional chinese with pinyin input.

I'm in the same boat. The latest software update removed traditional Chinese pinyin and replaced it with simplified pinyin. Dafuq? Why even remove the language option when it was already fully functional?

So there's no way to get the traditional Chinese pinyin option back unless I downgrade to a previous software version?

I want to see traditional Chinese pinyin out back too! No idea why they needed to remove it... it was perfectly functional and had no issues from what I could see.

Hopefully, Traditional Chinese pinyin can come back soon. it's really slow type speed and it's so sad that we have great passport hardware keyboard but we can't type traditional Chinese fluid.

Not only did the update remove the Pinyin input for traditional Chinese characters, but is also butchered the 注音字母, or BoPoMoFo input for traditional Chinese. Am using a Q10 in Taiwan and have found several of the 注音字母 phonetic syllables to be missing. Can longer type any traditional Chinese w/ either 't' or 'f' sounds. Great! Hopefully Blackberry will fix this problem soon.

    They should bring it back...
Although I don't type Pinyin Chinese regularly, there are times when it would've been much more convenient if it was available.

I definitely miss having Pinyin typing from the past version.

This is very disappointing! Especially to users from Singapore to Malaysia, Thailand to Vietnam, and perhaps some in Mainland China as well... as people from HongKong and Taiwan is still much dependent on the traditional characters they know...
I shall leave one of my Z10, Z3 and LEAP in their original shipped OS to continue to use PINYIN typed Tradition Chinese input option.
