Sexy! Also, that extra chin will make it a whole lot easier to type, believe it or not.

Here is the link to the device to include in the original post...

On topic, I personally don't like it. I like the sharp corners. They complement the industrial look. The rounded corners make the device look like an extruded version of the Classic.

I prefer the original, I think the rounded corners make it look a bit cheap.

Hopefully this deal will make the "uncarrier" red....strike that, magenta in the face.

Just glad some carrier in the US will officially sell it. Whether the corners are round, square, or whatever...

Same phone basically. Good I say.

I think this model will have some sales legs. I'm not saying I prefer it ; I think the square corners look much more distinct and exclusive.

Now what about a case for the rounded corners?

Ironically enough, the new design is one that I would have loved before the square one was released. I hated the square design at first. But now? The corners and edges are what makes the Passport the Passport to me. The new one just looks watered down to me, tamed for the masses. It sort of feels like BlackBerry sold out to appease the carrier, because the styling of the original was too much for some. It now looks like someone just melted a Q5 and it spread out. But if this is what it takes to sell some more Passport, then that's fine. It's still a BlackBerry, and I hope this new style gets BlackBerry even more new users, though I will be holding onto my black and red original Passports.

I like the square better, but the rounded is not bad. The rounded actually looks a bit more like a traditional BlackBerry. This is probably what ATT was going for.

I find it amusing, after seeing how many people were originally turned off by the square corners, now it's seems quite the opposite. I didn't like the square corners at first, but I prefer them now.

Now this is going to be even more of a headache for cases and such. We have such few options for a good quality case as it is already.

I don't like the way it looks. Either way hopefully I'll have a regular Passport before this enters the market.

There will definitely be more choices for the At&t version. I'm quite sure they had to put in a substantial order to get exclusive sales rights/ 1st sales rights. Otter probably has it designed already.

I don't mind the design, but I do find its existence bizarre - someone at AT&T absolutely, positively had to have the Passport with rounded edges. I don't know if this was some sort of internal personal preference, or if they think it'll sell better this way, but it's one of the stranger carrier demands I've seen in a while.
