Just got some AWFUL news from the BlackBerry Online Store (Digital River)!

Their systems show that the next expected ship date for all BlackBerry Passport devices for those who have been placed on a back-order waitlist is OCTOBER 6th!

I placed my order at 11:15AM EST, and I still haven't received a shipping confirmation. Or a notice that my order is on backorder. Has anybody who ordered around the time I did get shipped?

I had emailed their customer service and got this reply at around 11 pm yesterday (24th).....

That means that they've processed your order and verified they have stock of that item.

Same boat as you, ordered at a very similar time, with neither shipping confirmation nor back order email... there was another guy in a different thread with the same situation.

I'm thinking that maybe we "got lucky" and got some of the last Passports that were in stock but they just didn't get to processing them yet (I picture an empty warehouse with like 5 Passport boxes sitting in the corner and the warehouse workers were like "meh I'm hungry let's finish up tomorrow" and went home)

Got confirmation at 11:30am.

FINALLY got my shipping confirmation a few minutes ago. 2:30am et

I'm in Alberta , it's suppose to be here later Friday. Coming from Indiana

Yeah I have my delivery eta for 5pm tonight, however it it left my regional sorting facility at 8am this morning (the facility is an hour away) shows as in transit (to the local facility I'd assume.

I told my secretary to interrupt the second it arrives (if it comes early) and say I have an important conference call

I'm going to wait and get it at my local bell store October 1st I think. It will cost me an extra 25$, but if I order now from shop blackberry who knows when I'm going to receive it.

Mine is supposed to come by 5pm. I have been peaking out of the window every time a car goes by. Not to mention, I woke up at 2:20am randomly and noticed I had my shipping confirmation!

Ordered mine on October 17. Got an email saying it will ship by Nov 4th. Got another email this morning with a tracking number and see that I will have it by noon today! Woohoo

I am going to email DR, going to give them until tomorrow. I ordered mine on Oct 3rd and they have my order complete. Initially then they said it was backordered and I would receive it on the 29th and then they said the 3rd. Will be a little more patient but at the end of my rope with all the miscommunication and phony tracking number.
