what kind of case?

I have the skinomi "case" that is just a sticker... it won't "protect" it from much but it is good for light scratches and keys possibly (I use the body glove case over it though)

The official BlackBerry leather case adds very little bulk... but it's a bit crap. Not the best fit, relies on adhesive which will collect dust at the edges due to the curved back, and about as much use as a fart in a spacesuit when it comes to protection if dropped. It looks alright though and will protect the screen from pocket scratches.

I actually really like the seidio surface case. I have the convert combo and the added protection is awesome when at work. At home I prefer just the surface.

If you looking for a flip case try the one of Stilgut, it lives minimal bulk, very good protection unlike of the official case and it's of excellent quality.

The Amzer flexible cover is slim and works really well for protection. I've dropped my PP a few times in this cover and haven't had any damage. The phone now feels more natural in my hand with the skin on than without. I think it comes in a variety of colors as well

I'm currently using the Seido surface case. It doesn't add to much to the phone. I'm have the AT&T Passport so very limited to cases.

Great case. Haven't used the OEM hard shell case since I got it.

Flex case is slightly thicker than the hard shell...but only nominally.
