Though my news app don't support rotate screen , it works great on my passport. How I can I force them to rotate? For our passport, nothing really need to be changed?.

Those Android apps are not optimized to run on the Passport so you may encounter some limitation. You might try swiping down from the top when you are in the app and select "resize" and pick the rectangle option. Rotating might work then, but it may not.
