I have bad system cpu spikes at night while charging.
Is something that could tell me what process is doing this?

Is there a log or record?-img_20150225_070826.png

I think you might need to reload your OS to combat that.

Had a Z10 that was dropping about 1% a minute and went into the monitor and saw the huge system spike. This started about a month ago. Did a hard reset (no software reload) and it hasn't happened again. I thought someone in the Z30 forum matched it to a bad website, but I could be foggy on remembering that one. Maybe clear your entire browser history and do a hard reset? I didn't clear the browser, just did a reset with the volume keys. Safest bet is to try that first!

I am thinking it has to be an app or something. I deleted a few android apps and cleared my browsing history

I have done several hard resets

I am having no other issues with 10.3.1 so I am trying not to have to do a new os install since everything else is running so smoothly

What would be nice is to see what actual process is pulsing the cpu like that

So this hasn't happened after deleting browser history as well as Zite and office mobile android app

Wonder which was the culprit. My theory is office mobile trying to sync and authenticate inside the android runtime.

And this was ever so useful as well.

That being said, using Link you can try collecting logs if they have not cycled over writing, read through them to see if there is anything listed during the times of the spikes to see if you determine any running processes going out of whack.

    Good luck.
