Hello, I am kindly asking any owner of Blackberry Passport if he could check if there are new language input options in the new OS 10.3 in the BlackBerry Passport.

Particularly I am asking for Russian "translit" or Bulgarian input.

I am planning buying the Passport but it will be unusable for me if there is no proper Cyrillic input with it's hardware keyboard.

    Thank you.

Not sure if this is what you asking for, Bulgarian is not while but Ruskii language is available in although I have no Passport, I will suggest it will be available on all devices with the same OS. With passport having a hardware keyboard, it will be a struggle to have Cyrillic keyboard Input ..

Passport on It should be easier on a virtual keyboard, since you can see what you're typing.

Not to spoil it for all of us who are eagerly expecting Translit, but there are few 'strange' or someone may say 'disturbing' facts about the above screenshot:

#1. Russian Translit is NOT a new Language, but just a 'Keyboard Layout'. Why it is added as new Language in the settings? There is no need for different spelling (as for example in US and UK English). This appears to be very wrong.

#2. When the same Language is listed in the settings multiple times - the countries are shown in parenthesis for both Languages - for example English(UK) / English(US). We see only one of them with parenthesis - 'Russian' and 'Russian (Tralnslit.)'. This is odd.

#3. In the other Languages for multiple countries there is no space before the parenthesis - English(UK), English(US) - but for Russian Translit there is one space.

#4. Yes - there is at least one other issue with the screenshot, but let's leave it for the readers of this forum to figure it out .

What is the conclusion? Why are the BlackBerry developers making all these mistakes? Are they clueless? Highly doubt it. There must be another answer to all that. May be this is just some beta OS that will be later corrected. Or...
