Im considering getting a new passport. I had a keyboard replacement for Q10, so I wonder if passport has the same problem? Or has anyone encounter such problems?

I have heard of it being an issue for some, however, I've come to accept that us physical keyboard users are going to have to accept this reality as a trade-off. I've replaced the Q10 keyboard once already too and I'd be more than happy to replace the keyboard on my Passport if it starts to double-type. I got the Silver Edition with hopes that it's the best keyboard to date, and that's what I've heard. I won't have a phone that doesn't have a physical keyboard, period.
I have my BlackBerry Passport SE Now only good a Month but I can say there is no Problem with the Keyboard. I'm Messaging and Writing a lot on my Device, as in really a lot! And there is still all fine :)

Zero problems with mine, doesn't mean it might not occur, a poll with enough voters might be useful. If this is like other forums, the people who do have problems will outweigh the people with no problems who don't have a reason to participate...
No problem with my Passport SE. I been using it for maybe 8 months it still perfect. Just sometimes the light on the Keyboard goes dark, after soft reset, everything works fine....

It might just be me, but i hate the keyboard on the passport and i will soon stop using it because of that fact! Its stiff, every button feels slightly different from each other, not all the buttons are nice and clicky, had some replacement keyboards but none was perfect and constant, there are always buttons feeling slightly different from others... i miss my q5 keyboard where every key felt the exact same and also the key travel and feedback was much nicer

Blackberry Passport Running 10.3.2.2813
Great, how long has u been using?

Ya but that mainly occurs on Q10 because of the keyboard manufacturer. So I wonder if the passport keyboard manufacturer would be better.

WOW...As I stated....Do a Search.
That is a very good Question, I'm using my BlackBerry since I got it every day and I'm Tipping with it a lot. My SOT is more then 7 Hours a day. It's also one of the Reason why my Battery drain so fast. I got this Phone because I want to have a Device to replay faster then others. And to be able to wright more then others.

Did you solve your problem?
I have let's say a similar problem. All keys are working ok and The stiff is similar on All Keys except The "m" key Who don't have any feedback.
Somebody with similar issue?

The keyboard on the first geneation (Black) Passport was a bit stiff from the start. I now have a SE. This keyboard is much better (less stiff), but I did like the old one as well.

No problems with my SE PP.
Still waiting for more feedback please.

Replaced mine twice for the keyboard issue and now on the 3rd device the enter key has begun to show signs of double type so I have moved to the Priv to see how I like it. The PKB is a necessity for me and the issues with it on the PP are just a bummer as I love the device.
