Hello, I plan to purchase a Passport Silver soon. I had the original Passport, but never needed these applications before. Could someone please test the following applications? I would prefer an APK sideload, and to not have to patch anything.

Simple (Banking application, just need to see if it launches)
Wells Fargo (Does mobile deposit work?)
The Score eSports
Fandango (Is the one on Amazon work well for ordering tickets?)
HBO GO
Showtime Anytime
Xfinity TV GO
Twitch (official or third party, just need to be able to follow events)

If the majority of those applications work, I will be a happy camper!

No one has access to a Passport and can let me know if any of those applications can work? That's nuts.

You're asking people to do a lot of legwork for you. I don't think it's "nuts" that people haven't.

There are different degrees of working too. It may work right away. Maybe an older version of the app may work. It may work if it has been patched for Google Play Services.

They may only partially work as well - with some features unavailable or causing the app to crash.

My guess is that you will be 50% successful.

The best bet is to buy it, and return it of you don't like it.

I'm just glad that the BlackBerry community is incredibly helpful, at least on these forums.

If I had a Passport and saw this thread, I would tried those applications and responded what worked at what didn't. It's pretty hard to quickly install an APK and see if it works.

I will just buy it and hope for the best, even though there are hundreds of people who could answer some of my questions here right now.

I understand how difficult it is to find the APKs for those apps and install them. Thanks anyway...

But I can tell you Twitch is working. It is one of my very Important Apps.

I would prefer them to not be from Google or have any patches. Maybe grab the APK from APKmirror.com I think it is.
