The screen on the Passport had rounded/curved edges like the Z30, so a glass cover may not be a great fit. Its not like the Q10 where the screen is recessed in the frame.

That's true. When I was using the Z30 without a screen protector, I could see small scratches forming. I ended up using a tempered glass protector that was made for the HTC M8

Agreed totally, I did try to install a tempered glass screen on the z30 and the edges lifted and would not stick. However like the poster said, the Q10 is recessed so it will fit that device.

I ordered a screen protector for 5 bucks on Amazon. Pack of five. Fits way better than OEM protector. Really decent. And should save your screen for when the tempered ones are available.

After reading this post I sent an email to the Phantom Glass website yesterday asking when they were expecting the protector to be available for the Passport. Got a reply first thing this morning saying they expect them in a week or two. Just keep checking their web store. Kind of expensive though ($35.00), but probably worth it.

From what's described on the ebay page and from what I've asked the seller, the tempered glass in question has 9H hardness (the highest) rounded edges, an a coating which resists finger prints much like the more expensive brands out there.

Will report back here when installed.

I've been using passport without a protector. No little scuffs or anything from swiping etc. No keys in pocket etc but it's pretty strong imo
