This update scares me. If I end up not updating it now, will Rogers end up pushing out a fix for the flicker and such? Will I be able to skip this update and go straight to that fix update?

So, it seems that the update thru link seems to be working better than OTA.

Can anybody else chime in which way they did it and if the problems are present even if done with Link?!

I did the telus update OTA and then installed the passport fix with Sachesi.

I did mine OTA and I've got no flicker issue.

I shut my password off and kept it plugged in the whole time and left it alone.

I experienced the flickering and had problems viewing my Facebook account in the Hub. After reinstalling my Facebook account and restarting the device, everything was fine.

Last night i heard of this update i checked ..yep there it is DECLINE CLOSE i was like realy took them long enough, this mornong pluged my passport into my computer to do a backup and load via link looked at my phone .....phone must reboot now due to updates ?
10 min later it reboots link says 10.3.1.2267 need to change that setting QUICK
Been using it now for 2hrs no issues yet, opened and closed buch of apps to see any kind of flicker nothing smooth as ever then i updated bbm no issues with that either will post if i have any issues

Im with Rogers Wireless and I still haven't gotten any notifications as of yet on my Passport about the new update yet. Wondering if certain devices are getting it in a staggered delivery?

I think this post is a bit misleading!? Nobody I know that is using the official locked to Rogers Wireless Passport has gotten the update to 10.3.1 yet!?!?!?

Have used it for several hours now. Can't see any flicker yet.

Does anyone know what the new version will provide ?

I understand that 10.2 users will see major changes but what will Passport owners see ? I suspect it's more maintenance than substantive changes.

I bought my Passport during the Valentines sale and couldn't swap my SIM card because of the micro to nano and our IT guy was away for a week. My old Q10 is a company phone, but I just had to get a Passport with $250 off. Rogers couldn�t access our account and passwords.

So I checked for updates on my Wi-fi and their was a 2Gb size update for 10.3.1.1581 and it took an hour to download.

I just checked my Rogers and there was a 48Mb update. Pretty minor, it only took 5 minutes at the most.

BTW, what a great phone. Very happy with MY Passport.
