quorky unfortunately, people arent good at figuring this out... most hear that you have to pay 600 out of pocket and they get turned off, but offer them a phone for 200 and maybe even free with a trade in of their old one and they are all game... it's just how things work for now and the blackberry team should have been fully aware of this dynamic to make sure the launch is a multi carrier launch with full support from the largest players.
Yeah, the berry launch / demand seems pretty good, but could have been much much better and could have really been a game changer for them. Not saying its over, but they needed to have their ducks in a row from day one, because they really cant afford to continue to ignore the dynamic of the cellular market.
