On my z10, I used to be able to wake up the phone with one swype up. Now I have to swype once to get the preview page or whatever it's called. Then I swype again to get to the home screen.
It's an extra step that gets annoying.

Why do you keep writing swipe with a Y?
I agree with the issue though. Annoying as hell! It's because of 10.3 I think
It might be that you have the interactive actions on. Lift to wake? Try to adjust that action to see if there is a different result.
It's on the older 10.3.1 os it has been removed on the newest 2072

I don't know. It should be swipe though lol. I think I had an app that used swype, and that got in my head.

I think there was demand to have the home screen wallpaper fully visible so in 10.3.* the "Home" screen with Active frames comes after the first swipe.
I have to agree that it does seem to add an extra step to the whole unlocking process, especially if you have a password, but it's not too bad because I could just leave my most used apps active�
As someone mentioned, enabling Advanced Interactions makes a BIG difference. I just turned on "Lift to wake" yesterday and am already amazed at how quickly it seems to get back into the interface compared to swiping up.
No, that's actually a third step, which you can turn off. So, where it is now, swipe once, get the lock screen, or whatever itcalled, where the notifications are. Swipe a second time to completely wake up the phone to the active frame screen. Then from there you can go to apps or the hub.

I'm pretty sure it's a bug man. What I've done is turn on the automatic screen waking when you lift the device, and try to swipe slower. Sorry man
Not a complaint here but I have noticed that my Passport does not seem to learn words the way my Q10 and Z10 did. (yep I do have the "Learn New Words" turned on)
i'm having the same issue with my passport. swiping to unlock is almost completely useless. takes me 4+ swipes every time, and even then it will only wake the screen and then I have to swipe again. i'm running 10.3.908. oh and pressing U + enter does nothing

I've never had such issue. From screen off, one swipe gets me to the home screen. That's about it.
