The question is mostly contained in the title. I've searched and haven't found the answer, but maybe I missed it.
I don't care so much about the BB World apps, or about the Settings (I wouldn't restore those--I am on 10.3.1.1016 on my Z10). But I'd like to restore the media data and all the Android apps and their data from the Z10.
So--is it possible to do this, and if so, is it advisable?
I believe it is automatically done. I switched from Z30 to Passport with everything restored over, including Android app data. Just make sure you have the latest BlackBerry Link installed.
Did you switch from 10.3.0 or from 10.3.1 on the Z10 (no 10.3.1 yet available for the Passport), and I wonder if that makes any difference. Other questions are:
1. Whether it's better to use a Z10 Backup and restore it selectively, that is, not loading the old Blackberry Runtime from the Z10 app data backup, especially if it's a different OS level.
2. Upgrade the 10.3.0 that comes preloaded on the Passport from Amazon to the latest 10.3.0 leak before restoring anything to the Passport? I know that 10.3.1 must be coming soon for the PP.
Somebody here said you could do it as long as it isn't 10.3 to 10.2. I would back up your contacts to your sim card as a precaution or at least or hold off on formatting you Z10 until you are sure.

I was from 10.3.0 to 10.3.0. But the chance is you will be able to backup and restore across two versions. And the worst case is, if you find you can't, you just makes sure they are both at the same revisions before you have to switch... to be honest I doubt you will see any trouble in the switching process from Z10 to Passport. They did their work well.
