I have an ATT model but the keyboard is broken. Specifically, it feels like the bubble domes or whatever under the keys are broken in the center of the keyboard. The action is inconsistent and not right.

I have two extra passport models sitting in my drawer. They are the original versions. I want to switch out the keyboard in the ATT model with an original keyboard from my spares.

Does anyone think this is not possible? Also is the teardown of a ATT model much different?

Judging from the number of keyboards for sale on eBay it's possible. I think there's also an ifixit guide with a full teardown.
