Hello;

I am currently on BlackBerry 8520, v 4.6.1.272 (Platform 4.2.0.118). I recently bought a Passport and would like to transfer my contacts. BlackBerry has this nice info page for device switch:

Unfortunately, it says on the page that BlackBerry OS 5-7.1 devices can be switched, so my 8520 is not covered What can I do? I just need to transfer my contacts, which are not synced to an email account. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Afterwards, I suggest dedicating one email to contact syncing, and delete it from all other emails to eliminate contact duplication. Watch your SIM card too. They sometimes populate there. When adding a new contact, don't let it add to local. Another way the system can duplicate, and cause immense frustration.
