So after just getting my red passport, I set everything up and installed the newest OS update .2226.

Everything is going smoothly except for waking the device. Swipe to wake takes three to four times to wake the device, unlock the phone using the power or u and then enter buttons takes about three to five seconds also. Anyone else run into this issue? I've done about two soft resets and a full wipe already and it's still happening.

I've had my AT&T Version Passport for about 2 weeks now and I've had to deal with this little hickup periodically as well, but I thought it was due to the screen protector I installed the second I pulled it out of the box.

Funny enough I thought it was my screen protector as well. Took it off and I still have this issue.

I did seem to have this after last OS update. Did a few hard resets and a couple of days later it seems mostly back to normal

Hopefully that's what it is, it's a little annoyance seeing as my Classic's swipe to wake works perfectly fine.

I have never had this problem since October when I got my Passport.

I have had this problem since new (about 6 months) and over several official OS updates. One thing I have noticed is that it is more likely a problem when I swipe with my left hand, it's not as bad as the right hand, go figure. But yeah it does get annoying.

I have also this problem only since I've done the update to 10.3.2.
Prior to this OS version it was turning on very quickly.
Rebooted few times. Still there after 2 weeks. Don't know what to do. Wipe with an autoloader ... ? don't know if it will change anything to this 4 seconds delay at unlock.

There could be a 'sweet spot' on where the swiping works and where it doesn't. Try it over each letter of the top row and take note which works and which doesn't and repeat. You might find a trend.

Sweet spot is over the QWERTY on the keyboard.

It has been covered in other threads that the swipe to wake is sensitive to the keys in the center of the top row and not those on the sides. Seems to have been set up this way to reduce false swipes

Have tried those sweet spots people have mention. Still no luck. Probably just a software issue, not a big deal though I guess.

I've had this same problem since I got mine in February. For me, it's nothing to do with the sweetspot, since trying to wake it using the power button is also at times problematic. I did a factory reset at one point, but that was due to abysmal battery life, and my Passport still has issues waking.

Anyone find a fix for this, or any other OS release fix this?

The Passport 'sweet spot' is easier to find than 'G spot'... and it can be improved by OS upgrade... just only saying...

I have the same problem since installing the newest official OS. No problems prior to the installation of 10.3.2.2226.

Same here. It was fixed in the earlier 3.2 and now busted again on PassportSQW100-1/10.3.2.2339

I don't even get the swipe blur/fade animation anymore unless I go super slow.

Yeah I have to go pretty damn slow to preview my notifications. Hopefully they fix this soon, sounds like a minor problem, but when it happens everytime you check your phone during the day, it does add up.

I've noticed it too, it's rather annoying.

There's also a considerable delay when using the power button to lock/unlock screen.

I've noticed a bit of a lag when trying to wake the device by hitting the top button or the U key..... I can't remember if it was there before the update.....

I use a flip case and it wakes as soon as I open it, but swiping seems to work like it did on my z30.

So I decided to try a wipe of the device, and it seems to have gotten better. Not the best solution, since you lose everything, but without a restore it's a bit better. still about a second lag, but better.
