Ok, put the beloved swift key keyboard on the iphone 5. I'll have to admit, it is way better than the iphone default keyboard.
You think the passport can implement the swipin-ness since it is capacitive touch?

Do you mean Swiftkey's implementation of Swype? Like where you trace the path of the word on the keyboard with a finger?
That's a good question. I doubt it, but I suppose it could. I find swyping text to be kind of soothing, but not as fast as simply typing on a god virtual keyboard with suggestions like Swiftkey or BB10.

I've never really understood why you'd type in such manner, it's faster to type normally.

I prefer it to thumb typing on glass, but I prefer hard keyboard to either. And once you get used to it, flow typing is very fast. I believe the smartphone speed records have been set using it.
Posted from my Q10.
Yes, I mean swiftkey's swipe, where you trace to the letters. Yes Swype is a different company.I know BB10 is licenses SwiftKey already. I'm referring to not having to lift your fingers off the surface. I think sometimes the swyping is faster than anything.
It is now theoretically possible on the Passport except you wouldn't have the graphical feedback.
