Do you have a link to a good Chromecast that doesn't lag when streaming video? Tks!

What is this lag you speak of? I've had mine since the day it came out and it never lagged doing anything. Although I use it for three things only, Netflix, Plex, and Songza. Never had an issue with lag. Perhaps you mean some other product.

I had one i used with the Z30 that lagged with videos. Not the one mentioned above. That is why I asked for one that someone tried that didn't lag.

Web browser. First you have to click the icon in the corner of the video to play the video full screen, then in the bottom corner the full screen will allow playon.

You still have me lost. How are you playing a netflix or showbox video in the browser?

I played around a bit with it and I think if you get an HTML5 video stream, which I assume mobile youtube is, you get the PlayOn option. With flash feeds, I don't get the play on feature.

Not the one mentioned above? There's only one Chromecast. You have to be referring to something else. The Chromecast works essentially by tasking it to connect to Netflix, not mirroring your phone. Hence why I said no lag.

So this option is only through showbox, doesn't work with netflix.

Open showbox app, select what you want to watch, select the quality, then select watch now, but make sure internal player is NOT checked, this will open the video in the web browser, then expand it to full screen and you will get option for playon

The version of Netflix before the most recent update formats the video fine on the passport. Delete the version you have and try this one.

    Thank you SIR.
    Works awesome.

I had tried downloading Netflix from Amazon (by going to Cloud instead of Device), since some had reported being able to do that after having it on their previous device, but it gave me an error saying Device Not Supported.

Thank you so much! Solved my problem with Netflix not showing up in Amazon App store for my BB Passport (OS 10.3.0.98). When I couldn't see it in the Amazon App on my Passport I downloaded it on my laptop (which immediately goes to your cloud account) and Amazon still wouldn't let me view the app from my Passport. With your download I was able to transfer the .apk to my passport and it works great! Full screen mode does zoom in and crop the sides, but just turn off and it displays perfectly in 16:9.

I downloaded the latest version from 1 mobile and at the beginning it did not work until I found an option in the Passport sliding your thumb from the top of the Passport screen and them you change the size from full size to rectangular app aspect and it solved the problem. Works perfect!

The best way to watch Netflix and not have part of the video cut off is to change the size of the Android player for Netflix to rectangular. Then, you'll see 16:9 videos.
