Can someone with the SE confirm what is actual metal on the phone? I assume same as regular PP but thicker on the sides with painted plastic covers on bottom lip, top of screen, etc? Does the paint seem durable? I remember when I chipped the plastic from the bottom of my Z30 in the past when in was reported as an "aluminum" metal chin.

The only plastic parts are the SIM cover, the chin, and the speaker grill at the bottom. The rest, including the top above the screen, is steel.

Some people believe the speaker grill part is steel, but I assure you, it is plastic. Doesn't actually matter to me what that part is, the speakers sound great and better than my OG Passport.

I'll try to remember to take a radiograph of mine tomorrow. That will make it visual.

Got it done today. Classic on the left, SE in the middle, original Passport on right.

The SE has a solid steel cross member above the USB port. The original Passport steel is broken with a plastic piece completing the frame. You can also see the SE has a large camera lens.

Speaker grill part = plastic. I knew it. You can tell if you observe closely with the naked eye, it has a silver coating, just like the chin / frets part.
