Hello everyone! I'm very concerned about my battery, lately it started to drain a lot more quickly than before, I left the phone last nigh stand by 10pm, I woke up at 6 am and the phone drained 20% by doing completely and absolutely NOTHING (I was sleeping, of course I was doing nothing)

So what could be causing the issue? I have no idea cause I haven't installed any new app...

    Any ideas?

Have you tried a soft or hard reset?

No resetting, it's so hard to start from scratch when I have many email accounts... or many settings applied lol

Anything else? Why does this happens? Suddenly? Out of nowhere?

No not a device reset, a reboot or restart. Hold upper and lower volume keys together for a few seconds.

If that doesn't sort the issue, go into settings and check [run in background] permissions for your Apps. Too many will drain battery power.

How long have you had your phone? I had an AT&T Passport. After about a year and two months, I noticed I was having to charge the device more frequently. I went from going the whole day on a charge, to having to charge it mid-day at work or it would be completely drained by the time I got home. The phone was insured, so I contacted AT&T. Because the battery is not removable, I had to get a new device.

Current is fine, can you re-upload? I get an "invalid attachment" error when I follow the link.

Hmm, seems normal. Have there been any changes in wifi or phone signal strength?

Do you also have any Android apps installed that have "run in background" permissions (you can check using apps like CCleaner on Amazon). Background processes fall under System and Standby IIRC.

Let me check the Android apps background because everything else seems normal to me too...

I did check the Android apps background, and I don't even have android apps, besides the stock and instagram, youtube, crew. That's it... and phone is still draining 20% while sleeping.. it's weird.

I have the same issue and I tried everything except replacing the device. I started out by rebooting then deleting every app and every account on the device, lastly I did a factory reset... in vain. Standby remains the mayor drainer. By now I just live with it I don't care anymore.

What I don't get is the fact that happened out of nowhere, one day was good leaving the phone at night and consuming only a 2 or 5%... and then boom 22%

Something got broken, and I will find out xDDDDDD

Try flight mode for one night, to confirm or eliminate the radios.

How's your coverage, do you usually get good reception for wifi and radios? If your device is set to LTE and you're not getting full bars you could try dropping down to 4G from Settings -> Network and Connections -> Mobile Network -> Network Mode.

Did you try sending an email or message that may have failed and it is still trying repeatedly to send. "many email" accounts, how many? Do you have sync settings to frequent, try lengthening them or set to push. Did you expose your battery to an excessive amount of heat lately?

I also noted a steep decline in my battery longevity. I finally did a complete re-install of the OS using Sachesi and things do seem (a bit better). I will need to give it a week or so to the let the OS settle down
