Hello. I found another joint at the passport camera. If you turn on the stabilization when shooting the video, the picture begins to float at the slightest motion. This is also the case in the camera ++ app. Why is this happening?

Seven old piece of hardware and your wondering why it might not be working just right?

You can reload the OS to rule out the software side of things, but most likely the OIS is just going out on the camera module. If it's an issue, you could replace the module.

I have already changed the module, but nothing has changed

And it's only in 30 fps mode

No need for sarcasm. People should feel welcome to come here for support, regardless of how old their device is.

How are the video results when you disable the stabilization effect?

Why would people expect to come here for support for BB10 devices? It's not as if it's the only BB10 support forum in the world.

Agreed. Metrics-wise, there really isn't any other.

When the stabilization is turned off, everything is ok. I have a strange assumption. Maybe this is how it should be? On the Internet, I saw several videos from a passport at 30 fps and there is the same "effect." But for some reason no one pays attention

Interesting. I didn't use the setting, but if the results are better without the stabilization feature, I'd just keep it that way. You already ruled out a hardware issue w/ a new camera module.

Because this is a BB10 discussion forum and it gets used regularly for support? I was criticizing a longstanding member's response to someone who just wanted help.

And weren't you criticizing others in another thread for similarly being dismissive of BB10 in a "BB fan forum"? Seems like you're sending mixed messages.
    I thought it was sarcasm.

In all likelihood, you're right. If so, apologies, @FortressBB10!

If you have a passport, could you check it? Shoot a video with stabilization turned on at 30 fps

I was being ironic and trying to emphasize your point.

And I noticed that even without stabilization, this effect is present if you sharply rotate around its axis, but with stabilization it is more pronounced
